Ple4Win 4.1.0 with Soil Model Wizard is now available
Posted by: B Bharatadjaya MSc - 11-08-2009, 03:46 PM - Forum: Ple4Win - No Replies

The latest version of Ple4Win 4.1.0 is now available. Please visit www.Ple4Win.com to download this version of Ple4Win with the new feature 'Soil Model Wizard'.

Version history can be found in the attachment below:

.pdf   Ple4Win Version History.pdf (Size: 50.94 KB / Downloads: 1)

The Soil Model Wizard is an add-on module for Ple4Win that simplifies the obtainment of soil mechanical values through basic soil properties.

The soil tables in Ple4Win (Design Function 3.2) need to be filled with soil mechanical values. Obtaining these values is often problematic. Little is known and you might be glad just having information about the different soil types and layers. The Soil Model Wizard makes it easy to derive soil mechanical values from the information of the soil.

The Soil Model Wizard guides the user step by step in order to generate the soil mechanical values. Calculation of soil mechanical values is based on formula's from the Dutch Institute of Normalisation as given in NEN3650. Some default soil types are predefined within the Soil Model Wizard. These soil types and (most of) their properties are specified in NEN6740.

For all Ple4Win users, please send an email with the context* file to info@eds-ple.nl to activate the Soil Model Wizard for a limited trial period.

New releases of Ple4Win and PLE-micro-CAD
Posted by: ir KW Radder - 10-12-2008, 03:41 PM - Forum: Ple4Win - Replies (1)

On Friday 5 December the new Ple4Win Professional version 4.0.10 has been released. This version may be downloaded from here where a change log can be found as well.

For PLE-micro-CAD (PLE 3) users the new version 3.10.12 containing some improvements is available on the same website as from 10 December 2008. However, we strongly recommend to move to the Windows version a.s.a.p. because new developments will be made for this version only.
