Currently the Visualisation module only supports of the visualisation of the max/min value in an element. Is it possible to save every 7.5 degrees the calculated results, so that the visualisation is more realistic. I know that the project file will increase in file size.

Visualising the circumferential data along the pipeline is on our wish list as well. As the program currently only stores the circumferential data for the last calculated element, that needs to be modified too. In order to keep the file size under control, the user should be able to specify which data range (type of data, nr of elements, etc.) needs to be stored. To be continued!

Nowadays there are large cheap harddisks and DDR4 memory available and unlimited cloud storage. So, the file size shouldn't be an issue anymore now and in the future. Yes, I agree you have to store the data in an efficient way so that it uses less space. Specifying a range in for example in the SECTION table to select which elements should be calculated as detailed circumferential information is also an efficient way. Elements which are not calculated as detailed so show the max/min value in the 3D visualisation and the other elements which are calculated detailed should show circumferential 3D visualisation. With the detailed circumferential information it is not a big step to also calculate the cyclic loadings of the relevant elements using multiple project files.

A normal project file is normally less then 5 MB. Let say you have a calculation of 30,000 elements, which is the limit in the Professional version, and you want to store the detailed circumferential information of every element what will the extra file size be in the NEN3650-2 or GENERAL analysis mode? What is the extra average space needed for circumferential information of one element?
The rendering of the 3D visualisation graphics should use the latest DirectX and/or OpenGL to get the best performance/quality for the latest NVIDIA/AMD videocards.

In autumn release of Windows 10 it will support DirectX 12.0, which will be the best DirectX ever. A lot of Windows users will use the upgrade from Windows 7/8.1 to Windows 10.
Using Visual Studio 2015, which is to be released this year, to compile the PLE software (latest .NET Framework 4.6 that is supported in Windows 10) would use the latest debugging and performance improvements.
