RE: implosion
In D.3.3.4.1 of NEN 3650-2:2012 it is no matter of initial ovalisation of the pipeline, but initial eccentricity of the pipe as a beam (f0), also called imperfection.
There is a reference to D.3.3.3.1, where the critical butt value is given.
This value is dependent on the occurring ovalisation, that is reported by PLE in output table RDPLMAX (General) or RMAXNEN (NEN 3650 option). PLE gives a warning if the critical value is exceeded.
There is no possibitity for input of an initial ovalizsation in PLE.
