SWEIGH factors for cast iron ("gietijzer")
As an addition to the question about SWEIGH factors for PE: If materials have different factors for axial and tangential directions (such as nodular cast iron) then the following should be applied:

The axial factor should be used for SXUB1, SXUBH, SXIOSH and SXIORA,
the tangential factor should be used for SFIOSH and SFIORA,
all other factors should be set to 1.

This knowhow should also be included in the helpfile of PLE (upcoming version Ple4Win v4.3.0).
Three examples can be given:
- the two discussed examples from post #1: PE and nodular cast iron;
- the axial and tangential factors are 1 for steel.

What happens if you have for example PE with mitre bends?
Multiply the calculated mitre bend values for SXUBH, SXIOSH, SFIOSH with the factor 0,65?

Bas, I have made a screenshot of the SWEIGH table (PE 100 pipe with miter bend) for you.

   

In this case Ident "recht1" and "recht2" are straight pipes.
"bocht_s" is the start of the miter bend and "bocht_e" is the end of the miter bend.

0.542 = 0.75/0.9 * 0.65 (within the miter bend; see more information about the factor in this topic)
This reduction is only valid for pure out of plane bends (not valid for sleeping miter bends).
