Iteration monitor list for pipeline analysis with nonlinear soil and geometrically non-linear pipe behaviou (Output Table)

Table description:

The output data table ITMON provides an overview over the soil and geometry iteration process.

Each line of the table represents the iteration results after the iteration with the number specified under ITER.

Soil-iteration:

The number of error fields for each separate soil model: lateral soil behaviour, axial friction behaviour and torsional friction behaviour is given under NL(ateral)ERFLDS, NF(riction)ERFLDS and NT(orsional friction)ERFLDS, respectively. The sum of all error fields is given in NERFLDS. The maximum number of error points occurring in one of the error fields is contained in MFERPTS. The sum of all error points is given in NERPTS. (For description of error point and error field see input table SOILCTL).

In REMARK an indication is given of the iteration type in case of 2nd order geometrically and physically non-linear cross-section calculations.

Geometry iteration:

The minimum ratio of relative and absolute disequilibrium relative to RELDISEQ and ABSDISEQ are contained in DISEQ. If during the iteration process the equilibrium check is fulfilled for the first time, the message 'NEAR STABILITY' is given and the disequilibrium load vector is increased to push the pipeline through the equilibrium state. As soon as the response disequilibrium force vector reverses and the equilibrium check is fulfilled, the message 'STABILITY' is given and from a geometric non-linearity point of view the iteration process is ready.

The Loadcase name and a phase number, if applicable, are shown in the table heading.
