List of displacements in joints (Output Table)
The output table DISPJNT provides the calculated displacements in the joints of the pipeline.
The translations and rotations given are the differences between the end nodes of the pipes adjacent to the joint and are defined in the local (node) coordinate system. (For a description of the local nodal coordinate system see Direction of local X-axes for joints.)
If the axial displacement becomes equal to the clearance and there is a stop , the connection is treated as tensile force resistant. In the same way if the rotation becomes equal to MaxRot and there is a stop, the connection is treated as bending moment resistant in the further iterations.
Loadcase name, analysis type, iteration and phase number, if applicable, are shown in the table heading.
If there is no soil and the geometry calculations are linear, the iteration number is zero.
