Overview of resulting free spans of pipeline above ground (Output Table)
The output data table FREESPN provides an overview list of all pipe spans above ground level resulting from soil and/or pipeline movements in vertical direction or existing in, for instance, risers. Each pipeline section between two (soil) supported nodes and consisting of over 2 not supported elements (except in the end nodes) is defined to be a free span irrespective of the direction in which the nodes are supported.
The length of the span and maximum gap below the pipeline span are provided. For pipeline sections without soil the gap is undefined.
It is possible that these above ground spans are changed by the Loading Redistribution mechanism.
The loadcase name and the phase number, if applicable, are shown in the table heading.
