List of maximum principal stresses over the circumference of the cross-section (Output Table)

Table description:

The output data table MSTRMAX provides a list of maximum principal stresses over the circumference of the cross-section where calculations have been performed.

The principal stresses are the result of the summation of stress components resulted from the overall behaviour of the pipeline and the ring behaviour of the cross-section.

The principal stresses are calculated according to Mohr's stress circle.

The stresses provided are the absolute maximum values over the 48 points over the circumference of the cross-section together with the sign of that extreme value.

Detailed stress data of the last data line of the table are contained in the additional output table MSTRESS.

The table acts in an accumulative way if the unlock option is used. See PSTRMAX. For explanation of the abbreviations in the stress-component mnemonics see output table PSTRMAX.

The loadcase name as well as a possible phase number and indication of ovalisation redistribution is shown in the table heading.
